As a precaution against the spread of COVID-19, the Beauregard Parish Library is closed with an expected return to service on April 13, 2020.
No items are due and no cards will expire during this closure. WiFi remains available in the areas immediately surrounding our branches and digital services remain available through our website. If you are unsure how to use our digital services, we’ve added some helpful tutorials at Nicheacademy.

The development and implementation of any policy governing the operations of the Library must be in harmony with the library's mission of providing the people of the parish free and easy access to recorded information within the limits of space and budget. The responsibility of the Library is to satisfy the diverse library needs and interests of the residents of the parish through the selection, acquisition, organization, preservation, borrowing, networking, and accessing, of library material and information, regardless of format, and to provide skilled guidance in the use of the collection.
The Library Board of Control regular sessions meet on the first Wednesday in February, May, August and November; and Archives of the past board meetings are available.
